FedEx has fired a driver over an anti-Biden TikTok video

A FedEx driver named Vincent Paterno was fired after posting a TikTok video final week refusing to ship packages to homes with Black Lives Matter, Joe Biden, or Kamala Harris flags.

The video options Paterno, 39, sporting a FedEx uniform and apparently sitting on the wheel of a FedEx van, talking instantly into a cellphone cam.

“What’s up TikTok. Simply needed to return on right here and let all when you’ve got a Joe Biden, Kamala [expletive] camel toe [flag] posted up in entrance of your own home . . . Black Lives Matter [flag], I cannot ship your [expletive], says a smirking Paterno. “I’ll convey that [expletive] again to the station and I’ll maintain doing that [expletive]. Have a good day.”

Paterno posted the 36-second clip on TikTok on Sept. 16. It’s nonetheless reside on TikTok and now has greater than 90,000 views, 4200 likes, and 3700 feedback, most of which say Paterno is about to be fired.

When reached for remark, a FedEx spokesperson mentioned: “We’re appalled by the habits depicted on this video, which doesn’t mirror the views of FedEx. This particular person is now not offering service on behalf of the corporate.”

“I don’t really feel like him getting fired is sufficient for me,” commented person @kendria_v. “I would like a felony cost and jail time. Individuals get medication delivered to them. I would like him arrested.”

Media reviews of Paterno’s firing started showing final week. Paterno posted another video Sunday calling these reviews “pretend information” and stating he had already instructed his boss he could be quitting.

“I didn’t know I might get fired after I didn’t work there anymore,” Paterno mentioned.
